The theatrical run lasted two weeks, before the series premiered on ABC on September 29 and ran for eight episodes, concluding on November 10. Inhumans debuted on IMAX screens on September 1, 2017, the first live-action television series to do so. Filming took place from March to June 2017, at the former Naval Air Station Barbers Point airfield in Kalaeloa, Hawaii and various locations on the island of Oahu. Buck joined the series in October, and Mount was cast in February 2017. It was produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television in association with Devilina Productions, and was co-financed by IMAX Entertainment in a deal that gave the series a theatrical premiere. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and acknowledges the franchise's other television series. Marvel's Inhumans, or simply Inhumans, is an American television series created by Scott Buck for ABC, based on the Marvel Comics race of the same name. Though they were unsuccessful, their exploits brought Medusa to the attention of her Inhuman family who pursued her. Medusa readily agreed and filled out the evil foursome as they tried many times to embarrass and defeat the Fantastic Four. As he was creating an evil version of the Fantastic Four, he needed a woman to join his Frightful Four. Her sky sled crashed in the fight and she became an amnesiac wanderer, until the Wizard found her on a small Mediterranean Island, fighting French soldiers. When the Alpha Primitive worker race revolted, Medusa battled their leaders, the Trikon.
Medusa and Black Bolt developed a bond that blossomed into love when Black Bolt was first allowed out of his cell at age 18. While still an adolescent, she began to make frequent visits to the isolation cell of her second cousin, Black Bolt, and learned to communicate with him in a special sign language. Medusa's parents elected to expose her to the mutagenic Terrigen Mist when she was an infant the process endowed her with hair she could animate like added appendages. Medusa is considered a member of Attilan's Royal Family. Medusa was the first of two children born to Inhuman nutritionists Quelin and Ambur. In the first game, she she is found being corrupted by Doctor Doom off-screen after he kidnapped Odin Borson and stole his power. Medusalith Amaquelin, or Medusa for short, is a non-playable character in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series.
